POLICY & PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT
Attorney-Conducted Workplace Investigations works with employers to create policies and practices which focus on the prevention and effective management of employee misconduct and nurture a respectful, collaborative, and legally compliant workplace. We also conduct “environmental audits” or structured interviews with employees to uncover workplace issues so an employer can address them before they result in formal complaints or a demoralized workforce.
When hiring an outside investigator doesn’t make sense, we coach Human Resources or other company personnel to conduct their own internal investigation.
Attorney-Conducted Workplace Investigations also provides individual coaching to company managers to help them better understand their workplace obligations, and how their behavior may need to change to be successful in the workplace.
“Amy’s background as both an in-house employment lawyer and human resources professional means she really understands what it takes to conduct an effective and legally defensible workplace investigation. She also has the sensitivity and interviewing expertise to gain the confidence of the people she interviews, even reluctant witnesses. Amy is efficient and easy to work with. I could not recommend her more highly.”
